STORMWATER MANAGEMENT
Hunsaker & Associates utilizes a comprehensive approach to Stormwater Management for every project. This process is initiated very early on in the development of concept project plans.
The integration of planning, civil engineering, and hydrology specialists within one firm allows us to create innovative project solutions that result in efficient and comprehensive water quality solutions that creatively implement the required best management practices (BMPs). Our Water Quality team has prepared numerous water quality management plans such as WQMPs, SUSMPs, WPCPs and SWPPPs, as required by the state, counties, local jurisdictions and Caltrans.
STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLANS & WATER QUALITY MANAGEMENT PLANS
H&A has been preparing Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs) as well as Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for facilities requiring a State of California New Construction General Permit for storm water discharges, since 1998. Our training of on-site personnel in the implementation of the SWPPP and BMPs allow development staff to carry out the requirements for storm water sampling, dry season observations, and preparation of annual plan updates. In addition, annual site inspections, wet/dry weather observations, and sampling are performed by Hunsaker & Associates' field technicians during their quarterly inspections.
