Hunsaker & Associates prepared sub-regional water system hydraulic analysis for the backbone pipelines linking a 2,000 home project to water supplies separated by approximately 5 miles. The work also included design consultation for approximately 4 miles of 24-inch and 18-inch water transmission mains. H&A also prepared construction plans for 3 water system sites including: 250 HP/1200 gpm sound attenuated well pump, a chlorination detention system and a two zone booster station, a second well pump at 2000 gpm requiring 600 HP motor, and the pipe blending and control features for a two million gallon DYK pre-stressed concrete reservoir.
